Lusail City is one of the most ambitious urban development projects in the Middle East. Designed from scratch as a smart city north of Doha, it required a fully integrated light rail network to serve its residential, commercial, and entertainment districts. This system was also central to Qatar's mobility strategy for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
